打完前8局天使4比2領先，9局上Pujols(本季第17轟)錦上添花敲出2分砲，終場以6比2擊敗光芒。
這是Pujols生涯第537支全壘打，超越洋基名將Mantle獨居史上第16名，另外1122支長打追平Manny Ramirez並列第14名。
天使Garrett Richards先發7局失2分，獲得本季第6勝(4敗)自責分率3.97。「鱒魚」Mike Trout第6局也有開砲，本季累計17轟。
